The batter is cooked between two special plates, creating a grid of golden, crispy-on-the-outside, pillowy-soft-on-the-inside bubbles. At Muffle, every bubble waffle is made fresh to order — never pre-made.

We serve creamy, premium soft-serve ice cream swirled fresh on every order. Our soft-serve pairs perfectly with our warm bubble waffles, sundaes, and thick shakes. All our ice cream is dairy-based unless otherwise stated on the menu.

Absolutely! Every single waffle is pressed and baked to order right in front of you. We never pre-make or reheat — each waffle comes off the press warm, crisp, and fresh, exactly as a bubble waffle should be.

We offer a wide range of toppings including fresh strawberries, Nutella, crushed Oreos, Biscoff spread, apple pie filling, mochi daifuku, condensed milk, sprinkles, and more. Check our full menu for the complete list of signature combinations.

Yes! Our thick shakes are made with real ice cream and are thick enough to stand a spoon in. They come in a variety of flavours and are the perfect partner to a warm bubble waffle.

Our bubble waffle batter currently contains eggs and dairy, so it is not vegan. However, we're always exploring options to expand our menu. If you have specific dietary requirements, please ask our staff and we'll do our best to help you find something delicious.

Our bubble waffle batter contains wheat flour and is not gluten-free. We handle flour and other allergens in our kitchen, so we cannot guarantee a fully gluten-free environment. If you have coeliac disease or a severe gluten intolerance, please speak with our staff before ordering.

We use Nutella, Biscoff, and other products that may contain nuts in our kitchen. While we can make waffles without nut-based toppings, we cannot guarantee a nut-free environment due to the risk of cross-contamination. If you have a severe nut allergy, please let our staff know so we can advise you accordingly.

We're located at South Terrace & Henderson St, Fremantle WA 6160, inside the YARD area of the historic Fremantle Markets. Look for the orange glow and the smell of freshly baked waffles — you can't miss it!

We're open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 8am to 6pm. We're closed Monday through Thursday. We recommend arriving early on weekends as the markets can get busy!

Yes! The Fremantle Markets have parking nearby, including street parking and several public car parks within a short walking distance. On busy weekends, allow a little extra time to find a spot.

Muffle is a walk-up dessert counter inside the markets — no bookings needed! Just pop by during our opening hours and we'll whip up your waffle fresh. We don't currently take advance orders, but we're fast at what we do.

The Fremantle Markets are generally pet-friendly in the outdoor areas, but we recommend checking the markets' official policy for indoor areas. Service animals are always welcome at Muffle.
